Donor Egg & Donor Sperm
If a couple cannot get pregnant using their own eggs or sperm for in vitro fertilization (IVF), use of donor eggs or donor sperm is another option.
Friberg Fertility offers full-service, in-house donor egg and donor sperm services to ensure that your experience meets our high standards. This means you never have to worry about about the often unpredictable results from juggling multiple third-party providers, and you can trust that our knowledgeable and dedicated staff have screened every step of the process for you.

How Donor Sperm Work
Donated sperm can either be injected into a woman via intrauterine insemination (IUI) or used to fertilize mature eggs through in vitro fertilization (IVF).
Before donating sperm, men must be screened for medical conditions and other risk factors. Donated sperm samples are then collected at a designated clinic, and the sperm is frozen using liquid nitrogen — a process called cryopreservation. After at least 6 months of quarantine, the medical condition of the prospective donor is evaluated again, and if all is normal, the sperm is released for use. When needed, the sperm is thawed and used for either IUI or IVF.
Sperm donors can be either known or anonymous to the recipient.
